  • The Client & Sector: Cambridge Neuroscience. Educational/Academia.
  • The Brief: Create striking and energetic Cambridge conference photography that helps ‘make the conference look interesting’. Shoot all speakers, networking moments, coffee and lunch breaks plus drinks receptions and gala dinners.
  • My Approach: I have been lucky enough to photograph Camneuro events for over 10 years, in almost all possible Cambridge conference venues and at all different times of the year. I approach them all in the same way. I aim to work unseen and shoot what is going on from a long lens. As the photographer, I’m not there to get in the way of proceedings, but to capture the speakers and the moments between delegates. Challenges include shooting indoors, in challenging lighting conditions almost always. Working with restricted and awkward angles can also be an issue in tighter venues.
  • Finished Work & Outcomes: My Cambridge conference photography work for CamNeuro has been used annually to promote the next year’s events. It’s also been used in online galleries to share amongst delegates.
