June 2017,
a month of everything I shoot added up to my busiest ever…
It all started with Cygnus Homes in Duxford. With a big idea for new-home building, they’ve launched their prototype home. I photographed the event and returned to shoot archetectural interiors and exteriors.
With a number of PR headshot commissions throughout the month, by far the bigest was for The One Group. With offices in Cambridge and Peterborough, I was with them for 3 days photographing 75+ staff members. I had to bring the studio to them so shot against a large white Scrim.
I also shot a number of location portraits that did not require studio look. These executive headshots were taken on location at the Moler Center, Churchill College, University of Cambridge.
June also saw me cover corporate events and conferences. In the middle of the month, I spent three days in the South Downs with a German group. There were English country activities, a vintage car raly and gala dinners, one of which involved portraits with a Queen lookalike!
June also saw me shoot products for a number of companies. Most of my product work is shot in the Cambridge studio, but for technology firm PTP, I was on location in Toft. I combined some portrait head-shots with photography of techy products I could not attempt to explain!
Another big event I was luck to photograph was Camb Neuroscience’s BRAINfest. Held at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge, it was three impressive days of talks, activities and lectures. I’m still working on the final edits for a highlights film, but here are some stills photography highlights:
Another big job of the month was for IESO Health who I work with a lot. I was commissioned to create profile images of their therapists and student therapists for advertising use. We used models supplied by Models Direct and shot over two days.
