September 2017,
a month of corporate events and conferences in Cambridge and London (with a few portraits throw in for good measure)…
My first conference of the month was for Cambridge Neuroscience. I’ve worked with them on a number of occasions and covered the student symposium in previous years. The venue was West Road concert hall with the conference dinner at Trinity College. I do like shooting at the University of Cambridge!
My second conference event of the month followed the day after in London. Hosted by IESO Health at The Royal Institution, I recognised the venue from Christmas TV. What an iconic venue!
My next job of the month broke up the conference and event work. I was booked to shoot studio and location PR material for the Institute for Manufacturing in Cambridge. I spent an hour with the Institute’s new director shooting portraits. In addition, I photographed staff head-shots against white using my location lighting gear.
Mid-month, the race course at Newmarket hosted a health sector conference day. I shot event images and head-shots of all delegates. I spent the coffee breaks and lunch shooting white background portraits of everybody!
My last job of the month was back in sunny Duxford. I say sunny, because every time I have shot for Cygnus homes, it’s been a glorious day! The event was am invite-only PR event to show off their recently finished show-home.
