MARCH – LOADS OF EVENTS

March 2018,

Lots of corporate events (and very few signs of spring)!

My first event of the month was for a corporate events company I work for in London.  The client was Siemens Management Consultants. As it was a recruitment event, the candidates need to remain private so I can only share locations – but great locations!  The event was a mix of business and pleasure activities; a smart meal at Shakespeare’s Globe, a Thames river cruise and some presentation workshops inside the worlds most sustainable building.  It was a full on 24 hours, but good fun too!

I was in the studio a lot in March shooting my social/family photography as well as a few corporate shoots.  This one was for a dentist as you can probably tell from his smile?

The rest of March was taken up with University of Cambridge events, conferences and talks.  The first was a conference for Cambridge Neuroscience at Robinson College.  I photograph many events for Camb Neuro and have shot this conference for a number of years running.  It’s always a full on day, but I usually get lucky and blag an invite to the dinner!

Next up was the annual WiSETI lecture, another event that I’ve photographed before.  This is WiSETI’s flagship annual event where a distinguished woman scientist is invited to speak about her life and work.  This time we were at Churchill College to hear Professor Dame Jane Francis talk about her experiences as the first woman Director of the British Antarctic Survey.

I final bit of work to blog was shot for the Judge Business School in Cambridge.  I shoot for them regularly as they expand their image portfolios.  These were shot for an adult/executive education program.

Other work I’m not able to share yet included location portrait sessions for the University of Cambridge and Anglian Water.  I’ll hopefully share those at a later date!  Now then, where is spring?
